Tseung Kwan O New Town (Chinese: 將軍澳新市鎮) is one of the nine new towns in Hong Kong, built mainly on reclaimed land in the northern half of Junk Bay (also known as Tseung Kwan O) in southeastern New Territories, after which it is named. Cetainly, it also affiliated with the ancient Chinese Military Story of General who are the guardian of the area. Development of the new town was approved in 1982, with the initial population intake occurring in 1988. As of 2016, the town is home to around 372,000 residents. The total development area of Tseung Kwan O, including its industrial estate, is about 10.05 square kilometres (3.88 sq mi), with a planned population of 445,000. Major residential areas within the new town include Tsui Lam, Po Lam, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O Town Centre, Tiu Keng Leng (formerly known as Rennie's Mill) and Siu Chik Sha. From the administrative perspective, the new town belongs to Sai Kung Area in southeastern New Territories, although it is often incorrectly regarded as part of Kowloon due to its close proximity to the city—the town is bordered by the urban township of Kwun Tong to its west.

My family and I have been living in the Tsim Sha Tsui area for 10 years. As an expat to HK, I am running a restaurant in the same area and also the great Kowloon Park is always amazing. We enjoy cooking ourselves so we always go to the Market in Kwun Chung Street which everything is ready for cooking and with a competitive price tag.
I have been lived in Tokyo for 5 years and then started my EXPAT life here in Jordan Area's vintage building. I found everything is convenient and lovely. Neighbourhood is very friendly and international too. I got friends from Korea and Japan in the near by. Once a week on the Happy Friday, I will go get a drink in the SOHO area near Tsim Sha Tsui. .
